We begin this series where all things do- with the earth. If you’ve been dreaming of fresh herbs by your kitchen window, tomatoes ripening on the vine, or wildflowers dancing in the wind, this workshop is for you. Our first event will walk you through the gentle, patient art of starting your first garden. No experience needed, just a little curiosity and a willingness to get your hands in the dirt.
This event will be hosted by the one and only, Micala Gillespie, a local farmer and florist with a long history of professional earth work. She’ll teach us about soil, seasons, and what grows well in our corner of the world. She’ll cover simple ways to make gardening feel approachable, even if you’ve never kept a plant alive before. And most importantly, we’ll plant together- because what better way to welcome spring than by putting something new in the ground?
